Hepsabah is Dorothea SaDiablo's cousin. Under Dorothea's orders she pretented to be mother of Daemon Sadi. Since Daemon was a pleasure slave, Hepsabah expected him to behave like one with him. When Daemon was visiting Dorothea's Court in Daughter of the Blood he tried to kiss Hepsabah on the cheek, but she turned her head just in time so he kissed her lips. According to Daemon's thoughts this was a custom of hers.
Hepsabah's fate is unknown, but it is likely that she died in the Purge Jaenelle Angelline released on the realms to destroy the corrupt Blood.
